New Rider Class - Level 1
For students who have never ridden a motorcycle ages 13 to 78 (oldest student so far). Kids & adults will ride bikes with a manual clutch. The objectives of this class is for each student to learn the basics of throttle control, clutch coordination, shifting, turning, and balancing a dirt bike. Students MUST be able to ride a bicycle proficiently before attending class.
We provide the protective gear (helmet, elbow and shin/knee pads), the bike, the fuel and full day of instruction with MSF Certified female coaches. Your ticket also includes a riding day pass at this amazing facility.
What to bring/wear:
Please wear sturdy boots, pants and long sleeve shirt, pack your lunch, and plenty of water for the class. BYO camping equipment if you want to spend the weekend, or check the link below to book a shelter or cabin. You won't be too far from town (Winchester, VA) where you can also hotel it if you're not into camping.
The Cove is great place for families- feel free to bring the whole crew. Nestled in Gore, VA close to the WV and MD borders the Cove campground is an off-roading oasis with 3000 acres to explore, a pond, shooting ranges and more. It's family owned and a wonderful way to "glamp" with their hot showers, potable water and even some campsites with full hoook-ups! Book directly with them if you want to reserve a spot ahead of time.
