About the Event

Intro to Adventure Riding

For students who have a “big bike” but are not comfortable taking it off road (yet).  We strongly recommend taking our Level 3 Clutch Capable dirt bike class first. It's a great way to get more comfortable off-road without risking your own big bike.

Adventure bikes or dual-sport bikes welcome.

The objectives of this class is for each student to learn the fundamentals of throttle control & clutch finesse to keep their heavy bike "in balance". Additional skills include: shifting while standing, negotiating tight turns with counter balancing, and mastering off-camber terrain all off tarmac. Ages 16 + welcome

Student provides her/his own bike.

Feel free to come and make a weekend out of it with two classes in a row! Hotels or Airbnbs Winchester or Front Royal are about 20 minutes away.

All participants must be AMA members. A link to join the American Motorcyclist Association, renew membership, or purchase a one-day pass will be emailed to you with your confirmation of purchase of this class.
