About the Event
Are you coming to Michaux Dual Sport ride but don't want to ditch the fam or have other friends who really should get into moto? Then sign them up for this deeply discounted class happening at the Fairgrounds Friday of the event weekend. Tickets available to DVTR members at an early bird rate of $125 (regular price $300). Early bird sale period ends May 31, 2025. Price goes to $175 after that and will be open to non-DVTR members attending the event also.
New Rider Class - Level 1
For students who have never ridden a motorcycle ages 12 to 78 (oldest student so far). Kids & adults will ride bikes with a manual clutch. The objectives of this class is for each student to learn the basics of throttle control, clutch coordination, shifting, turning, and balancing a dirt bike. This registration includes a full day of instruction AND the following: Helmet, elbows/knee + shin pads, fuel AND the bike! If you have any gear of your own, feel free to bring that instead! Wear your own long pants, long sleeve shirt and over the ankle boots and please bring sunglasses or Rx glasses as well as snug fitting gloves.
