About the Event
Beyond Basics – Level 2
For kids and adults ages 12 and up who have taken a "New Rider" class, our two-day beginner class or already have some experience with a motorcycle clutch. Reviewing fundamental skills, especially smooth clutch/shifting, mastering standing on foot pegs, getting more practice time and having fun are the objectives in this beginner class. This is NOT for street riders looking to try dirt; for that check out Level 3.
Gates will open 30 minutes before class time.
This is a GROUP TRAINING ENVIRONMENT. Meaning, we will be working as a team moving all students through the curriculum together at the same pace. We don't want to alienate or embarrass anyone. If you or your child have special needs, will not thrive in a mixed adult + kids group setting, or might need extra help/individual coaching, please contact DC Dirt Camp for private lessons. This registration includes a full day of instruction AND the following: Helmet, elbows/knee + shin pads AND the bike! If you have any gear of your own, feel free to bring that instead! Wear your own long pants, long sleeve shirt and sturdy over-the-ankle boots and please bring sunglasses or Rx glasses as well as snug fitting gloves.
